Our local Texas Hill Country chapter of Women for WineSense creates events focused on wine appreciation in a welcoming atmosphere where wine enthusiasts network and interact with key women in the wine industry in our area. Along with growing a network of like-minded wine lovers, every event promotes education and a deeper understanding of wine. The monthly book club is not like any book club you’ve experienced before.
Each book selected will provide education and the discussion about each book will provide different perspectives, all while tasting wines mentioned in the book.
This month’s selection is brought to us by the folks who created the popular podcast that helps wine feel more approachable. The book is full of charts, maps, lists and an unpretentious delivery to give us a resource to know wine better. As usual, we will taste through at least 6 wines mentioned in the book while discussing the content and format. Feel free to bring snacks for sharing.
Join fellow wine lovers at Amie’s home for a casual happy hour, networking, wine trivia, and more! Your reservation goes towards our new wine scholarship program. 5-7:00. Bring a bottle of wine to share and a snack if you’d like. Members, non-members, women, men, everyone is invited. Seating is limited to 30, so RSVP asap. As Argentina has blossomed over the past decade into the New World‘s fastest growing wine exporter, it has captivated connoisseurs with unique grape varieties that beautifully capture the country‘s terroir. Our host, Julie Swift, will showcase several incredible wines, including sparkling, white and unique red wines from current and older vintages.

It‘s our 8th Annual GM Leadership Panel - always a hugely popular program filled with actionable info and candid conversation.
Our focus will be leadership development to help attendees in their own career development.
Our panel features dynamic, talented leaders that have worked from entry level production and viticulture roles up to GM levels, building noted brands and teams along the way.
