Laurel Glen Vineyard, a thousand feet up the western slope of Sonoma Mountain, was well known as an excellent site for Cabernet Sauvignon even before the 1st vintage of Laurel Glen Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon was produced in 1981. The wine quickly received international acclaim for its exceptional balance, elegance and ability to age gracefully. In 2011, 5th generation vintner Bettina Sichel became the steward of Laurel Glen Vineyard. The new era begins with an ambitious new team dedicated to restoring the vineyard and the distinctive Cabernet it produces to the former preeminence.
