Bonjour au Midi!

North City Bistro & Wine Shop

For this event we say bonjour au Midi (or hello to the Midi!), the region of Southern France that includes the French Riviera, as well as the Southern Rhone and Languedoc-Roussillon wine regions. The sun and the sea define le Midi, and our wines and paired dinner will show us the magic that connection brings to the table. Our host at North City Bistro & Wine Shop is Ray Bloom. Ray has years of experience in the world of wine, both with Vinum Importing, and as the proprietor of North City Bistro since 2014. The Bistro serves fresh, creative fare, it is also a venue for live music in an intimate, neighborhood setting. Jazz and Blues are the focus, bringing musicians and music lovers together at least four times a week. Last fall Ray took us on a tasting tour of Malbecs, and his wonderful Chef Bernice designed a very memorable dinner to complement the wines. This time, Ray is selecting wines from le Midi, with a menu Chef has created that will transport us from Seattle to a little bistro table on the sun-soaked shores of the Mediterranean!

Please note the system charges a $3.00 processing fee for WWS nonmembers to pay by credit card. To RSVP & pay by check, email  wwsseattle@yahoo.com to confirm, then mail your check (made out to Seattle Women For WineSense) to Sue Regan at 112 - 236th Place SW, Bothell, WA 98021. Your check must be received 3 days after your RSVP is made. After that time your space will be released. This event is nonrefundable after June 1st. All refunds will be less a $5.00 fee.
