Although wine regions like California, Oregon, and Washington are on the forefront when it comes to American wines, other regions which include Michigan, New York, and Virginia are considered emerging U.S. wine regions.
We are lucky to live here in the Finger Lakes, one of the most prominent up and coming wine regions in New York and the world. But have you sampled wines from many of the other emerging wine regions in the United States?
Last November, FLX board members, Karen Desmond and Kelly Towers researched the U.S. and selected six of these emerging wine regions (Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Michigan, Texas and Virginia) which were featured in our program.
Emerging Wine Regions in the U.S. was our most popular monthly program of 2020 and many of you asked us to do this program again. So back by popular demand, Karen and Kelly have selected six additional emerging wine regions to explore with you. Like last year, we will do a deep dive of this year’s six regions and feature one winery and one of their top wines during our event.
