You asked, we answered. The Rochester Chapter of Women For WineSense is committed to bringing compelling wine education to our members and beyond. Italian wine is one of the most interesting wine regions in the world, particularly popular in the United States.
Join Women For WineSense as they welcome Maurizio Clemente, Wine Consultant for Vias Imports Ltd.. as he leads us through an extensive tasting of Italian wines. Vias Imports Ltd. represents the most comprehensive portfolio of Italian wines in the United States. Their portfolio highlights a vast array of over 200 native indigenous varietals that embody the distinct character and terrain of each of Italy’s diverse regions. We will taste wines from the Marche, Umbria, Campania, Puglia, Piedmont, Tuscany and more.
Our speaker for an evening of wine, food and education, was born and raised in the region of Basilicata, in Southern Italy. The land of Aglianico del Vulture. He assisted his family making wine and completed his college degree in Rome, Italy. Moving to the United States in the late 1990s. He has been a staple in the Rochester wine scene since the early 2000s. Ravenwood Golf Club will provide a lovely dinner of some classic Italian favorites.

A lot of women are trying to get back into the working world after suffering hardships during the last couple years. It has been awhile since the local organization Dress for Success has spoken to our Rochester chapter. They will be talking to us at November's meeting AND collecting both physical and monetary donations!

their website to find out what their needs are at this time. They have a surplus of some sizes and items right now, and we want to support them in the most helpful way we can. We can bring ACCESSORIES (they can be gently used, check their guidelines on their website) , AND new items with tags that for some reason we, or a family member never ended up using!

Our reservation seating was created during the height of COVID pandemic restrictions to give guests more peace of mind attending our events. With pandemic restrictions now relaxed, we are no longer offering reserved seating requests for our monthly events. We appreciate your flexibility during these last few years as we all have navigated uncharted territory together.
