A Visit to Paso Robles

We’re headed to California, to Paso Robles, for our May event. The Paso Robles AVA is on the inland side of the coastal mountains in San Luis Obispo County, about 4 hours north of Los Angeles.

Laurie Coles, Wine Director at Corner Wines, will share information on the fantastic wines coming out of Paso Robles and her experience with vintners, producers and blending in the region. In 2023, Laurie was one of 50 top sommeliers, restaurateurs and wine buyers selected for a three day immersive Paso Robles Cabernet and Bordeaux Collective (CAB) camp sponsored by The SOMM Journal to explore Paso Robles' Bordeaux varieties and sustainability.

Join us May 14 at 6:30 pm at Corner Wines to learn about, and taste five wonderful wines from Paso Robles, enjoy hearty appetizers, and get a glimpse of what Paso Robles has to offer.

Reservations: No reservations will be accepted after Saturday, May 11, 2024. Payment is required in advance by credit card or check and is non-refundable. If paying by check, your payment should be payable to “WWS” and sent to WWS c/o Melanie Clark, 6705 Shadow Crest Drive, Plano, TX 75093. Payment must be received by the date of the event.

Please note if you are a non-member registering for this event and paying with a credit card, you will be charged a small fee for the credit card transaction. This fee will appear as a separate line item on your credit card statement.
