Terroir: a French term meaning “sense of place”, referring to the various factors that impact how a wine expresses itself in the glass If you’ve never had wine grown and made in LA, this tasting is for you! And if you don’t think good wine can be made with LA fruit, this tasting is also for you! Byron Blatty is a Los Angeles wine brand through and through. Owned by Angelenos Mark and Jenny Blatty, Byron Blatty produces limited-edition quality wines using all Los Angeles fruit. At their newly opened tasting room in Highland Park, we will enjoy a flight of Byron Blatty red wines, while exploring the varying terroirs of Los Angeles, from the Sierra Pelona Valley to Malibu. Arrivals begin at 6:30pm for a splash of something refreshing from Byron Blatty’s lineup, plus a light cheese and charcuterie spread. The seated tasting will begin at 7pm promptly.
