Welcome, Sacramento Chapter! Maggie Beddow and the other dedicated Sacramento Chapter board members have worked very hard to establish this chapter! They have many fun and educational activities planned for the members. The chapter will be catering to wine lovers and wine industry professionals in the Sacramento Valley, Sierra Foothills, Delta and Lodi regions.

It is with great pleasure to welcome the Finger Lakes Chapter to Women for WineSense!  The chapter board has been working hard over the last few months to create a great organization in one of the top wine regions of the world.

Rochester: Let's Explore Languedoc Roussillon and Southern France 
Tuesday, August 11 - 7:00PM
Please welcome back David Zima of Southern Wines and Spirits for a tasting of great wines from the Languedoc Roussillon and Southern regions of France. Dave has such a passion for the wines from these regions that he convinced us to change up the theme for our August monthly meeting. Dave will share with us some of the regions’ wine history; insight to some of the best producers from these regions; discuss the different appellations of these areas; the versatility of pairing these wines with food; and why we should be drinking more blends then single varietal wines. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!
Finger Lakes: Wine and Food Pairings 
Monday, August 17 - 6:30PM
Please congratulate one of our newest chapter for their first official event!! This event will include a formal wine tasting. Wine educators Cheryl Pitti and Tricia Renshaw will walk us through four delectable bites, specially created by Chef Andrew. Each food item will be paired with two wines; one New York and one from a different region. We will discuss the different components of the food that bring out different characteristics in the wines.

Central Florida: WWS at The Capital Grille with a Master Sommelier 
Wednesday, August 19 - 6:30PM

The Central Florida Chapter of Women for WineSense invites you to join them at The Capital Grille with a Master Sommerlier. WWS teams up with The Capital Grille to feature 8 amazing wines from inspiring women. As a bonus, George Milotes, MS, will be on hand to discuss the wines with guests. Fee includes wine, a variety of small bites and entry into our raffle.

Seattle: Bunnell Family Cellar at Sweet Basil's
Thursday, August 20 - 6:30PM 

The Seattle Chapter of Women for WineSense invites you to join them for their Annual Summer Evening at Sweet Basil's with Rob Bunnell of Bunnell Family Cellar. Pairing Ron's fabulous wines with the fantastic culinary creations and the beautiful garden of Sweet Basil's is this year's installment of our long-time summer tradition! A relaxing stroll through the garden while sipping a glass of wine is always the best way to start the evening. And the koi pond, inviting benches, herbs and seasonal blooms, are just part of the charm of Sweet Basil's. The food is always amazing, and the wine pairings will be as well! Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity!!

Texas Hill Country: Progressive Wine Dinner 
Friday, September 4 - 5:30PM 

Join the Texas Hill Country Women for WineSense Chapter for an evening of wine, food and fun! With two convenient starting locations and a great line-up of Texas wineries this dinner is a perfect kick-off to a weekend in the Hill Country. Registration includes souvenir wine glass, transportation, dinner & wine. Buses Leave Promptly at Scheduled Pick-Up Time arrive early at your starting location to enjoy a glass of wine & charcuterie before boarding the bus!
