Things are starting to heat up in the Finger Lakes, and what better way to celebrate than a Women For WineSense cocktail party? We invite you to an exclusive evening full of connection and community to kick off the Summer!
Expand your palette and explore our favorite wines with a new twist! Don your favorite cocktail attire and come celebrate with us Monday, May 20 on the patio (weather permitting) at Outlet 111 in Penn Yan. Our chapter President, Natalie Travis, will guide us through how to make various Wine Cocktails to beat the heat!
About our Speaker...
Natalie Travis brings a wealth of experience and knowledge about wine and hospitality, gleaned from her lifetime in the industry.
Originally from North Carolina, Natalie attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, majoring in Hotel Administration. Throughout her time at university and beyond, she has continuously pursued opportunities for growth and learning in the industry. Natalie has taken a number of courses and certifications in wine, spirits, event planning, and food safety, including Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET), Serve Safe, and Certified Sherry Specialist. These educational endeavors have complemented her hands-on experience, further solidifying her expertise in hospitality management. After graduating, she embarked on a journey through the food and tourism industry, spanning Key Largo, the Caribbean, and Las Vegas, before settling in the Finger Lakes with her husband and son.
Over the past decade, Natalie has managed various properties, including The Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel, Lakeside Restaurant, Plum Point Lodge on Seneca, and Once FLX. In July, she achieved her dream of opening her establishment, Outlet 111, a cocktail, wine and charcuterie bar on the Keuka Lake Outlet Trail in Penn Yan.
In April of 2023, Natalie was selected by Saperica to be a Finger Lakes ambassador, visiting the Republic of Georgia to study Georgian varietals that grow in the Finger Lakes wine region, such as Rkatisitelli and Saperavi. These grapes hold a special place in Natalie's heart and wine cellar.
