This year we decided to celebrate the season with a very special event. We will be honoring the memory of our friend and board member Jeanne Judd in a way that we think she would approve!  Women For WineSense has held many events at Jeanne's home cooking school, Sweet Basil's, a warm, welcoming place of wonderful food and talented people. Our memories of those occasions are some of the best of all of our chapter's events. For this festive evening we are presenting a menu from past Sweet Basil's events, as well as bringing together some of the ladies who cooked for us at those events to do so one more time.

 

Also joining us will be Ruth Arista, now retired from Arista Cellars in Edmonds, and most certainly one of the most knowledgeable wine people around!  Ruth has shared her wine expertise with us in our events including two challenging and enlightening blind tastings, a component tasting, and how to pair wine and cheese, just to name a few. Ruth will perfectly pair the wines, as always, and we are looking forward to seeing what she comes up with!  Please join us for a wonderful, festive dinner, as we toast the holidays and our friend.
