Women For WineSense Finger Lakes is delighted to present to you this very special event! Join us on September 11 for an exclusive dinner with Johannes Reinhardt, owner and winemaker of Kemmeter Wines.
This special event will be held at one of the Finger Lakes region’s newest hot spots, Outlet 111, in Penn Yan. Johannes will guide us through a three course meal, one of which will feature the Kemmeter Wines delicacy, Sans Dumplings. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with a selection of Kemmeter Wines.
We are excited to learn more about the inspiring story of Johannes and Imelda, the husband and wife team behind Kemmeter Wines. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity!
More About Johannes
Johannes was born into a family of farmers, grape growers and winemakers in the wine region of Franconia (Bavaria), Germany. The predestined way for him was to take over the family's Estate Winery, but eventually decided to leave it behind to forge his own path.
Not long after walking away from the wine industry, Johannes realized that the love for vineyards and winemaking still burned in him. He hoped the he would own his own business. The years went by and he had the opportunity to work for various wineries in Germany and the USA. While working as the winemaker at Anthony Road Wine Company, owners John and Ann Martini helped Johannes to realize his dream, starting his own winery. Today, Johannes and his wife Imelda work side-by-side at both Kemmeter Wines and Sans Dumplings.
