Bottle Blending Day Camp™ with Liz Mercer of Judd's Hill
Wednesday, October 25, 2023 4:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM CT / 7:00 PM ET VIA ZOOM
About the Experience:
During our Bottle Blending Day Camp™, Judd's Hill General Manager (and prior National Board Member) will lead you through a tasting, education, and blending session. You and your group will perfect your Bordeaux-style blend using samples from four barrels of four red varietals, all from the Napa Valley appellation. You will taste the nuances of each wine and how they work together to bring out the best in each other. Once your favored blend has been decided upon, a virtual competition will happen live over Zoom, and a winning blend will be selected! Each kit includes ONE bottle of the winning blend!
Step 1: Order your $225 kit here - includes four half bottles of 2021 Napa Valley barrel samples
Step 2: After tasting and blending, we will create one bottle of the Women For WineSense masterpiece, and ship it to you, complete with a custom label!
Each blending kit contains one 375ml bottle of each of the following wines, from our barrels:
2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
2021 Napa Valley Merlot
2021 Napa Valley Petit Verdot

About Judd's Hill
Having started as garage winemakers in the early 1970s, Judd's Hill Winery and MicroCrush was founded in 1989 and is owned and operated by two generations of the Finkelstein family. Our motto is, “having a good time making great wine with family”.
We have made wine in The Napa Valley since the 1970s and continue to produce signature wines that are fruit-driven and concentrated while remaining well-balanced and food-friendly. Judd’s Hill was designed and built when the family purchased a 14-acre hillside vineyard in the eastern hills of Napa Valley. We moved to our current facility to increase our opportunities for welcoming guests. Taking an intimate and personal approach to our winemaking, we set out to produce no more than 3,000 cases of wine annually, an amount that allows us to enjoy a hands-on approach to every aspect of wine production. Our first release of Judd’s Hill wine was 1989 Cabernet Sauvignon.
