Napa-Sonoma Roundtables

Women For WineSense has long been dedicated to supporting professionals in the wine industry, and a key element of our support strategy is our network of roundtables. These intimate groups offer wine professionals a safe and dynamic environment to discuss some of the more confidential or difficult questions and challenges that arise in all areas of the business.

WINEMAKING & VITICULTURE
Openings: Yes

 
The Winemaking & Viticulture Roundtable is open to women winemakers, associate/assistant winemakers, enologists, vineyard managers, and viticulturists. Roundtable meetings serve as a unique, confidential forum for women winemaking and viticulture professionals to meet, exchange ideas and network with colleagues. The roundtable meets five times a year, taking a harvest break. Topics focus on those C-suite skills that winemakers need, but for which they often don’t get training. Guest speakers have included wine writers, sommeliers, global sensory consultants, key wine publication editors, media trainers, CFO’s and general managers. This is a dynamic group of very talented women!

MARKETING & DTC
Openings: Yes

This roundtable focuses on strategic and tactical issues for marketing wine sold through all channels, from direct sales and tasting room to the three-tier system. Topics include wine marketing strategy, brand management, consumer engagement strategies, digital marketing, public relations, communication materials, social media networking, wine e-commerce, wine clubs, and other related topics. The goal is to provide support and education to members through informal networking and discussions.



HUMAN RESOURCES

This roundtable provides networking opportunities and professional development for women working in the area of human resources within the wine industry. Roundtable meetings serve as a friendly, supportive and confidential forum for members to meet, exchange ideas, learn new skills and network.


WINE FINANCE & ACCOUNTING

This roundtable provides networking opportunities and professional development for women working in finance, accounting and controller positions within wineries, banks and other wine-related institutions. Roundtable meetings serve as a friendly, supportive and educational forum for members to meet, exchange ideas and learn new skills.
