Our local Texas Hill Country chapter of Women for WineSense creates events focused on wine appreciation in a welcoming atmosphere where wine enthusiasts network and interact with key women in the wine industry in our area. Along with growing a network of like-minded wine lovers, every event promotes education and a deeper understanding of wine. The monthly book club is not like any book club you’ve experienced before.
Each book selected will provide education and the discussion about each book will provide different perspectives, all while tasting wines mentioned in the book.
This month’s selection is a mystery novel that teaches us a bit about the aroma of wines. That’s right… murder and wine! It’s an easy read with some great wine knowledge and a fun twist on the nose.
