This event is meant to be enjoyed at your own pace. Registrants can stroll down Main Street in Grapevine and enjoy WWS member discounts at select tasting rooms (you will be required to show your WWS Membership card). We will meet for lunch at Mason & Dixie at 1:30 to enjoy a pre-selected menu. You will then be on your own to enjoy more of Main Street for the remainder of the day.
The list of locations offering us a tasting discount will be provided upon registration.

Richard Kinssies, owner of Wine Outlet on Elliott Ave in Seattle, has been a wine journalist since 1976. He is a features writer for The Wine News, a national wine publication and the author of Seattle Epicure, a book on dining in Seattle and The Art of Wine Tasting, an illustrated guidebook. Additionally, he has hosted his own television and radio programs on wine and is a frequent guest on National Public Radio.

You will be welcomed with a glass of wine at check-in and have the opportunity to peruse the vast selection of wines in the store. The tasting will follow with a selection of Spanish & Portuguese wines and Richard guiding us through the selected regions.
Richard is a bread baker and will provide freshly baked loaves along with homemade hummus and charcuterie.
Join us virtually on June 16th with Justine Belle Lambright of Kalche Wine Cooperative (majority BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ owned) as she leads us in the exploration of boutique, sustainable, conscious, and women led California wine producers with a focus on small production, low intervention, and futuristic ferments. Women For WineSense, together with industry insiders like Justine, are helping to pave the way for the next generation of thoughtful winemakers!
