ROC: Jingle Mingle

Would you like to be greeted with a specially curated sparkling cocktail? What a great way to kick off the holidays! Join the Rochester Chapter of Women For WineSense as we celebrate the upcoming holiday season with a Jingle Mingle!

What is a Jingle Mingle done the Women For WineSense way? The first hour will be spent spreading holiday cheer, networking, and a walk-around tasting featuring the four major types of Sparkling: Champagne, Cava, Cremant, and Prosecco.

Julia K Caters will provide her famous charcuterie display for the walk-around tasting. After one hour of jingling and mingling with all of our favorite Women For WineSense friends, we will be seated for a light-hearted discussion on sparkling wines from around the world. We will have four more sparkling wines paired with delicious hors d'oeuvres bites.

Please join us at the Historic German House from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Get your holiday cheer on and learn a little bit about sparkling wine.

Please dress in the holiday spirit – whichever you celebrate. Elf hats, Hanukkah cat socks, Santa tiaras, Jack Frost, Christmas Story Bunny suit, you get the gist. Extra points for holiday wine creativity!

$60 for MEMBERS, $75 for NON-MEMBERS.

Our Cork Bottle Pull is back!

The Women For WineSense mission established in 1994 remains our mission today: to provide educational and relationship-building opportunities for wine industry professionals and wine enthusiasts.

The Rochester Chapter formed an annual scholarship program in the fall of 2006 with the intent of providing support to an eligible chapter member for educational advancement in the field of wine education. It is awarded based on an applicant’s willingness to pursue an educational program of their own design with the goal of giving back to the chapter by sharing the knowledge obtained during that process.

At our final event of 2022, we will be conducting a cork bottle pull that helps fund our grants, scholarship, or community outreach. For a small donation of $10, $15, or $20, you will have an opportunity to pull a bottle at this event, so be sure to bring cash or your checkbook to join in the fun!

Please Note: If you are a non-member registering for this event and paying with a credit card, you will be charged a small service fee for this transaction. This fee will appear as a separate line item on your credit card statement.
