Do you love wine and want to learn from inspiring women in the industry? Join us on Wednesday April 26 for our upcoming speaker panel! We're bringing together a group of trailblazing women who have overcome challenges and found joy in leading wineries.

 

Sip on delicious wine and enjoy small bites as you gain valuable insights into the lives of women who are making their mark in the wine industry. All are welcomed, get your tickets now!

Sheila Jackson, Jackson McCrea Whiskey: The first black woman-owned whiskey brand in California.

 

Panel

Katja Newman, Ph.D., Managing Partner, La Cienega Vineyard: Family-owned and woman-led, La Cienega is certified sustainable, producing premium Cabernet Sauvignon in Alexander Valley. Katja directed the move from selling grapes to producing their vineyard-designate, award-winning label in 2018.

Shaya Kirkpatrick, Co-Founder, William Robert Wines: Shaya along with her husband Grant, have farming in their DNA, set their wine roots in 2010 in Paso Robles. With 2015 as their first vintage, William Robert Wines represents a taste of what is important in life, both past, present, and future.


Heidi Scheid, Executive Vice President, Scheid Family Wines: Daughter of founder Al Scheid, Heidi has guided the Monterey Country based company’s evolution from a grape growing operation that sold all its production to other wineries into a grapes-to-glass business that crafts authentic and engaging wines for the global marketplace.

 

Alicia Miñana, Partner, Laurel Glen Vineyard: Sonoma Mountain AVA - a Unique Heritage. UC Davis recognizes the unique Cabernet Sauvignon clone planted here as the Laurel Glen clone. This exclusive lineage is uniquely suited to the cooler growing conditions of Sonoma Mountain and manifests itself in exceptional fruit quality year after year.
