National Professional RoundTable
(Professional & Board Members and pre-authorized professional wine industry guests only)
Tuesday, March 26, 2024 12:00 PM PT / 2:00 PM CT / 3:00 PM ET VIA ZOOM
About the Experience:
Join Women For WineSense as we kick off our national professional roundtable program with a virtual presentation and frank discussion with Felicity Carter about the latest global Neo-Prohibition movement, what it means to professionals and consumers, and what we can do about it.
This movement is no stranger to Women For WineSense, founded in 1990 in response to a similar movement. Felicity has been digging deep into what has been happening since 1990, looking at how abstinence groups are now exerting an influence over global health policy — and what it may mean to the industry if ignored this time.
Felicity is a freelance journalist based in Germany who served as the editor-in-chief of Meininger’s Wine Business International from 2008 to 2021.
You may have heard a podcast interview with her on Wine for Normal People (Ep 509: Felicity Carter Exposes the Jaw-dropping Truth of Who is Guiding Global Wine & Health Policy) or read her story discussing wine and health in Meininger’s International (Wine and Health: Challenging the 'No Safe Level' Claims)
Attendance at this virtual event is free to all Women For WineSense Professional members.
Other qualified wine industry professional guests should email the organizer Amy Gross at president@womenforwinesense.org and receive confirmation to attend prior to the event.
Interested in becoming a professional member? Join online or email Nicole at info@womenforwinesense.org with any questions.
The event will not be recorded or rebroadcast.
If you want a first-hand look at what Felicity has uncovered, plus have an opportunity to ask questions, register by March 25, to receive the link.
