The Bartholomew Foundation proudly stewards both Bartholomew Estate Winery and Bartholomew Park, continuing a legacy that spans over a century of Sonoma Valley wine and grape growing history. The Foundation, a nonprofit, is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty, historic structures and viticultural heritage of this remarkable 375 acre parcel. It is the heart of the estate from which Count Haraszthy launched the California wine industry. The Bartholomew Foundation was initially formed by Antonia and Frank Bartholomew as part of their estate plan. Today, the Foundation’s Co-trustees, Anna and Frank Pope, in accordance with the Bartholomews’ wishes, operate the site as a private park, open to the public, free of charge for hiking and picnicking. The Bartholomew Estate Winery’s operations support the Foundation’s mission through wine sales, horseback riding and a variety of other experiences, allowing those who frequent it to become a part of the ongoing efforts to ensure that this much beloved community treasure continues to exist.
Bottleland is a mother and daughter owned boutique wine and spirits shop in Geneva, NY. Their thoughtfully curated, rotating selection prioritizes sustainable farming and winemaking practices above all else, with an emphasis on small, unique producers from the Finger Lakes and beyond. Their mission is to bring gems from around the world just a little closer to home, while highlighting women and people of color wherever possible. In addition to their retail selection, Bottleland offers private tastings for small groups as well as a wine curation and concierge services for parties and private events.
